About Us
The Salvation Army’s Child Care Centre, established in 1967, is licensed by the Ministry of Education, and operates under the Child Care and Early Years Act, 2014. Our centre participates in the Canada Wide Early Learning and Child Care Program (CWELCC) which was initiated in March 2022.

Enrolment
Interested in joining us?
All families in London & Middlesex County interested in enrolling in a child care program must complete an on-line waitlist application on the London & Middlesex Child Care Centralized Waitlist.
Our Registered Early Childhood Educators, through observations and conversations with our children, provide environments to engage your child.
We see our families as experts and value our relationships with them. Regular communication includes daily conversations with our families and sharing documentation of your children’s experiences.
Funding supports for families
Fee subsidy supports eligible families with the cost of child care expenses by paying a portion
of the total cost, as funding permits.
You may be eligible for Child Care Fee Subsidy if you:
- Have one or more children aged 0-12 years of age,
- Live in the city of London or Middlesex County,
- Meet the financial eligibility requirements
- Are currently employed, OR
- Are attending an education institution, training program or course, OR
- Your child has special needs, OR
- you are ill, experiencing stress, or have a family circumstance, OR
- Have a doctor or another professional recommending licensed child care.
