Saturday Hangouts is designed to provide an opportunity for adults 18 and older to engage in a wide array of activities that promote friendship and social interaction. Each session takes place on the beautiful property of the Salvation Army London Village, where the entertainment comes to us!

Saturday, February 8 - Loving Valentine's Craft Day

What better way to show your love than by creating an amazing Valentine’s Day craft for a special someone in your life? Join us as we use simple materials to make a unique and truly artistic decoration. You will "love" your new creation!

February 22 – Laugh Away the Blahs

It’s too cold to go outside? We couldn’t agree more! To help beat the winter blahs, let’s have a day filled with laughter as we watch a funny movie and share some good times with our friends. Please bring your favourite joke, and we will vote on who can make us laugh the most!

March 8 – Mardi Gras/ Shrove Tuesday!

We will celebrate Mardi Gras/Shrove Tuesday! Join us for a fun afternoon filled with crafts, games, and music. We will also be making and enjoying pancakes to celebrate.

Saturday, March 22 - Button Bonanza

Participants will explore various crafts and activities using everyday buttons, and we'll finish the day by making our own pin buttons.

Our Saturday Hangouts on September 21, 2024 was a total HIT! The puppies were adorable, and everyone had a blast!

Thanks to Emily, our amazing Saturday Hangouts staff member and foster mom to 5 pups from @SCAARlondon Animal Rescue! She shared all about the responsibilities of caring for dogs and the fostering process—such a valuable lesson!

Plus, all the puppies are up for adoption! This was serious cuteness overload!
